Choose Your Airless Hose Size Carefully

COST VS EAST OF USE
Selecting the correct sized airless hose is key if you want to be as productive as possible and minimize the risk in a burst failure.

FLEXIBLE DOESN’T ALWAYS EQUAL SAFE

HOW TO SELECT THE RIGHT HOSE:

To ensure you know how much pressure the airless hose can endure, check the rating on the hose.
● Do not use any hose extends further than 3 feet. If you have any questions, schedule a
consultation with the BlastOne team.
● Make sure the spray hose is above the highest level output of the pump.
● If the hose isn’t flexible enough, insert a small ID whip hose in between the main hose and the gun.
● Use a larger practical ID hose to spray. The bigger the size of the hose, the better the flow and less pressure loss you have.

In order for airless hoses to be able to manage being over pressurized, they are all made with a burst rating safety factor. If you see a hose that has a 4:1 safety factor, at 7,250 psi the hose is able to take up to 29,000 psi.
Airless hoses are made up of two things – wire and rayon braid.
