DeFelsko® Certified Coated Metal Plates / Coating Thickness Standard Set
Thickness standards are used to verify the accuracy and operation of coating thickness gauges. As a component of ISO 9000 or in-house quality control procedures, they are a practical alternative to sending instruments to DeFelsko for calibration.
DeFelsko offers various solutions for this process and this group of products is their premium version comprised of 4 Certified Coated Metal Plates (one being a zero plate).

The DeFelsko® Certified Coated Metal Plates are essential for ensuring the precision of coating thickness measurements. Organizations frequently mandate the verification of gage accuracy using standards that are traceable to a National Metrology Institution, making these plates an indispensable asset for quality control. Whether it’s for initial service verification or routine checks, these certified standards offer reliability across a variety of settings, from the calibration lab to the manufacturing floor. The set includes four plates with either steel or aluminum substrates, housed in a protective binder, each serialized for traceability to NIST or PTB, and accompanied by a Certificate of Calibration. Available in both metric and imperial units, with Zero Plates offered for additional calibration options.
