Multi-Media Blaster Schmidt® M-series blasting machines make your blasting operation more flexible. These multi-media units can be used with a wider range of abrasives than traditional blast pots, including:
- Crushed glass
- Glass beads
- Plastic
- Alumina
- Carbonate
- Steel grit
Design features that assist in getting difficult-to-flow media moving are:
- Extra steep base cone
- Differential pressure control
Other abrasive media that is suitable for use in the M-Series include:
- Corn Cob
- Walnut Shell
- Extra fine garnet
- Aluminum oxide (all grades)
The abrasive capacity for this product ranges from 23 – 70kg. This single system can be used for all your tasks, from cleaning surface grease and oil to rust or paint removal. The M-Series can achieve your desired surface profile because of it’s ability to utilize the most appropriate abrasive for the task at hand.
